Drivers dogged by controversy

I cannot believe how many people I have seen in our area driving with a little dog on their lap, even on the freeway. This is a danger to themselves, their dogs and other people. If they should have to pull up suddenly or be rear-ended, their dog would be seriously injured or killed.

I have two dogs, 7 pounds and 42 pounds, and they are both placed in special dog restraints when in the car.
