Mayor to give State of City talk

Westlake Village Mayor Susan McSweeney will give the State of the City address at a luncheon on Mon., Dec. 4 at the Four Seasons Hotel, 2 Dole Drive, Westlake Village. The event will be hosted by the Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce.

McSweeney's topic will be "Westlake Village in 2006: A Special Year Connecting the Past,

Present and the Future," focusing on the city's progress over the last year under her leadership and sharing the council's vision of city enhancement for the future.

Reservations and payment are required no later than 5 p.m. Mon., Nov. 27. The cost is $55 per person. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon and mayor's address following.
