Outlook: Viewpoint is seeking its first-ever win in the Prep League this Saturday when they travel to take on Webb in Claremont. Both teams are 0-3 in league. The Patriots are led by quarterback Josh Dver and running back Jamie Wheeler-Silverman. Dver's thrown for more than 500 yards and seven touchdowns, while Wheeler-Silverman leads the squad in rushing yards. Spencer Brown has been Viewpoint's most productive receiver. Taylor Lesser, Ben Salzman and Josh Leibovitch rank first, second and third, respectively, in total tackles. Salzman has a teamhigh 2.5 sacks. Following a 3-1 start, Viewpoint has lost three straight. Outlook: Know this, Oaks Christian's Bill Redell thoroughly enjoys beating his buddy, Nordhoff head coach Cliff Farrar. With the team the Lions will field in their final regular-season home game of the year Friday night, OCHS should have little difficulty handling its business. Oaks' offense is averaging 57.5 points per game and the defense is only allowing 7.1 points per contest. OCHS' stars continue to shine, but others are stepping up, too. Chris Potter, Ryan Landseadel, Chris Owusu, Tommy Grillo, Ryan McDaniel, Malcolm Jones and Joe Lee have all been big contributors during Oaks Christian's perfect season so far. |
