Anatomy of an epic: How Westlake beat Agoura

1st quarter - Westlake quarterback Ryan Campbell finds wideout Michael StreckWoodard for a 9yard touchdown reception. Extra point is good (7-0 Westlake).

1st quarter - Agoura quarterback Doug Shumway answers back with a 7-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Josh Irvin. Extra point is good (7-7 Agoura).

2nd quarter - Campbell completes an 18-yard scoring strike to Evan Christiansen. Extra point is no good (13-7 Westlake).

2nd quarter - Charger running back Matt Bradley plunges in from two yards out. Extra point is good (14-13 Agoura).

2nd quarter - Shumway connects with Irvin again, this time from 10 yards out with 2:32 remaining until halftime. Extra point is no good (20-13 Agoura).

3rd quarter - With 7:07 left in the quarter, Agoura goes for the end zone on fourthdownandthree from the Westlake 5-yard line, but Shumway's pass to Eric Well falls incomplete.

3rd quarter - Two minutes later, Agoura's Phil Jankoski recovers a fumble at the Westlake 14-yard line. On the ensuing

play, Bradley fumbles and Westlake's Tyrone Duncan recovers the ball.

4th quarter - Following a fumble by Shumway on his own 18-yard line, Westlake recovers with 4:23 remaining in the game.

4th quarter - Facing a third down from the Agoura 3-yard line, Campbell keeps the ball and dives into the end zone with 2:58 to play in regulation.

First overtime - Like the college game in overtime, each team gets the ball at the 25-yard line. Agoura receives the ball first and Eric Bailey converts a 26-yard field goal (23-20 Agoura).

First overtime - Westlake's Jordan Mannisto answers back with the game on the line, converting from 42 yards out (2323).

Second overtime - On the 10th play of the Warriors' drive, Mannisto connects from 24 yards away (26-23 Westlake).

Second overtime - Shumway's 16-yard pass to Irvin gets Agoura down to Westlake's 2-yard line. On the next play, Bradley fumbles and the Warriors recover. Final score: 26-23.
