Screenwriter to address writers' group

The West Valley Branch of the California Writers Club will welcome Doug Woods as guest speaker Sat., Nov. 4.

Woods, a studio writer, actor, instructor and consultant, will speak from 1 to 2 p.m. on the skills of script development. The meeting and lecture will

be held in the Katzenburg Building at the Motion Picture and Television Fund residence in Calabasas, directly across from the Stark Villa entry. The club meeting is from 1 to 3 p.m.
