Candidate seeks vote

I am running for a seat on the Triunfo Sanitation District Board in the November election and I would like your vote. This district includes Lake Sherwood, North Ranch, the portion of Westlake Village in Ventura County, as well as Oak Park.

This month, The Acorn has detailed what is going on at Triunfo. The first story was "Water District keeps millions in noninterest bearing account," on Sept. 7. Last week, the story was titled, "Triunfo financial practices reprimanded."

There was also an Acorn editorial about Triunfo titled, "Public agency under water." To quote from the editorial, "Triunfo has an election in November and perhaps a change of leadership is in order.'

I am that change of leadership and want financial sanity to return to the district.
