MAKING ROOM-Agoura running back Matt Bradley, No. 44, busts through a hole in the Moorpark defense with the help of offensive lineman Jake Rivkin, third from left. AHS lost the game 33-10. Westlake (6-0) at
Thousand Oaks (4-2)
Outlook: This should be an excellent contest as the undefeated Warriors hit the road for the first time this season to battle crosstown rival Thousand Oaks.
Both teams are coming off wins in Week 6.
Behind a defense that's allowed a Marmonte League low 75 points this season, the Warriors held Simi Valley running back Langston Jackson to 64 yards rushing as WHS upended the Pioneers 29-21.
Thousand Oaks, meanwhile, defeated Royal 21-7 thanks to 278 allpurpose yards from sophomore running back John Lister.
Expect strength vs. strength in this one as Westlake's defense tries to shut down the Lancers' high-powered offensive attack.
Royal (2-4) at
Agoura (5-1)
Outlook: After Moorpark running back Darrell Scott torched Agoura for 238 rushing yards and five touchdowns during the Musketeers' 33-10 victory last weekend, the Chargers return home tonight to take on a less formidable opponent in the Royal Highlanders.
The Highlanders have lost three consecutive games and have been outscored 92-14 over that span. Last weekend, Thousand Oaks' John Lister romped all over Royal, gaining 207 yards rushing and another 61 yards receiving.
That should be good news for Agoura's bruising tailback Matt Bradley, who currently leads the Chargers with 476 yards rushing.
Look for AHS to bury last week's disappointment with a big effort here.
