Beauty, health information to be shared at Westlake Village expo

The inaugural Health and Wellness Expo, "The Beauty Through Wellness Expo," is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., Oct. 22 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Westlake Village.

The event includes vendors providing many health services from ancient herbal medicine to state-of-the-art technology. Exhibitors will feature antiaging agents, weight management, detoxification, chiropractic, Pilates, yoga, nutrition, cancer treatment, acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, diagnostic techniques, pet healthcare, resorts, natural skin care and clothing.

Tickets are $10 at the door. 50 percent of all ticket sales and sponsorship proceeds will

benefit the Cancer Hope Foundation for its annual Camp Keepsake.

The Cancer Hope Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Camarillo. Every year, the organization funds a free weekend getaway for cancer patients and survivors and their family and friends. The retreat, Camp Keepsake, is in Malibu Canyon and provides cancer patients with relief from their daily routine of doctor visits and treatments.
