Westlake (5-0)

Outlook: After dispatching of Royal 31-0 last weekend at home, the Warriors get to host Simi Valley's other Marmonte League team when the SVHS Pioneers come to town.

Not only is the matchup Westlake's homecoming, but it'll be the team's final regular-season home game of the year.

Warrior Stadium has been very kind to WHS so far.

They've won their first five games of the year-all at home- and are averaging 31.6 points per contest. The Warrior defense has held three of its opponents to a touchdown or less.

In his last two games, senior quarterback Ryan Campbell has completed 33-of-40 pass attempts.

Oak Park (5-0) at

Grace Brethren (1-4)

Outlook: These two teams played a great game in the season opener a year ago, with Oak Park rallying late for a 21-14 victory.

Grace Brethren lost several highly touted players from that team and is currently in a rebuilding mode, as its 1-4 record attests.

The Lancers, a power running team in previous seasons, are averaging a paltry 1.9 yards per rush through five weeks.

Oak Park is coming off its finest defensive performance thus far, a 14-6 win against Camarillo where they intercepted three passes.

With the Oaks Christian showdown looming next weekend, Oak Park must maintain its focus here.

The game will be played at Moorpark College at 7:30 p.m.
