Astronomy club looks skyward

UCLA astronomy professor Ned Wright, PhD, will speak to the Ventura County Astronomical Society at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Oct. 20 in the Forum Auditorium at Moorpark College.

Wright, a Harvard graduate, will speak on "Observing the Origin of the Universe." Scientists can now see the structure of the universe as it was 400,000 years after the "big bang." The public is invited to come view images of the universe and learn what scientists are discovering.
