Westlake women's retreat coming

Westlake Lutheran Church will sponsor a one-day retreat for women from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., Oct. 14 in the First Neighborhood Community Center, 13830 Village Center Road, Westlake Village. The theme is "Drawing Near: Intimacy with God," based on the book of Hebrews.

The cost is $25, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
