'Chicken soup for the soul' author to speak

Jack Canfield Jack Canfield, co-author of the longtime New York Times bestselling "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, will appear Nov. 3 at the Westlake Hyatt for a motivational speech on behalf of the Westlake Church of Religious Science.

Canfield, a leading authority on self-esteem, will uncover various universal principles for achieving the extraordinary and discuss how he applied them to his own life.

Canfield's current book is "The Success Principles: How to Get

from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be," published by Harper Resource.
