Lecture to trace Conejo history

Thousand Oaks photographer Ed Lawrence will give a slide presentation, "From Ranchos to Residences-A Pictorial History of the Conejo Valley," 1:15 p.m. Sun., Oct.15 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum at 51 S. Ventu Park Road in Newbury Park.

Lawrence has chronicled local history since 1958, tracing its growth from a rural area to a network of modern communities.

The lecture is included in the price of museum admission: $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and youths ages 13 to 21, $1 for children 5 to 12.
