Professor to speak on the problems of translation

Poet Erland Anderson, pro- fessor at Moorpark College, will discuss the difficulty translating literature during a program entitled "Crossing the Border between Darkness and Darkness: Discovering the Works of Swedish Writers

Rolf Aggestam and Harry Martinson" at 7:30 p.m. in the Nelson Room on the campus of California Lutheran Univer- sity in Thousand Oaks.

The event is open to the public without charge, and will include free refreshments after the presentation by Anderson.

The program is sponsored by the American Scandinavian Foundation of Thousand Oaks.
