Where is the money from last year's bond?

Question: where is the money going from the educational bond that we passed last year?

Last night was the Back to School Night at Agoura High School. Overall, my 10th-grader's teachers are smart, encouraging and kind. Yet while one math teacher excitedly showed her prized state-of-the-art overhead projector (just purchased, thanks to this latest bond), another lan- guage teacher pleaded for all par- ents to call, write, contact their dis- trict office to insist on decreased class size. How can one person teach over 40 students at one time? Especially a foreign language?

Why are we spending for tech- nical upgrades when we so desper- ately need class size reductions? What use is a projector when the kids have very little, if any, per- sonal human contact with their educators? While a projector may help a single teacher reach more students, it is no substitute for one- on-one individual attention.
