Donate blood at Chaparral School

Blood donors are asked to come to the Chaparral Elementary School blood drive in Calabasas from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 12. The blood drive will be in the school multipurpose room at 22601 Liberty Bell Road.

Bring a picture ID or donor card. Prior to coming, eat a good meal that is high in iron and drink a lot of fluids. Donors must be at least 17 years old.

Every pint of blood can help to save the lives of up to three people.
