 UNDERWATER ACORN-The Stark family (Laura, Aubree, Madison and Connor) of Agoura Hills and Garrett Knowles of Oak Park go SCUBA diving with The Acorn in Belize. These third-place contest winners carry home their $25 prize in a waterproof bag. Congratulatons to all! Honorable Mentions: FANATICAL FANS- The Platner family from Agoura Hills enjoys a "Boca Junios" soccer game in Buenos Aires, Argentina, along with 50,000 other spectators. The Platners confirmed that soccer truly is the world's most popular sport. HUMANITARIANS-Drorit Rudin of Agoura and Alison Katz of Westlake Village meet one of the natives as they visit villages in Senegal, Africa to learn about the human rights struggle in West Africa. THE MAINE COURSE-Molly and Warner Myerson of Oak Park play with their food in Freeport, Maine. They better eat fast before their dinner walks away. CAPTIVE AUDIENCE-Kathy Steele of Agoura Hills is stuck in the stocks of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. Lucky she has some good reading material to help her pass the time. What a good way to keep tabs on your children. SWING TIME-Four musicians toot their own horns at the Traditional Jazz Band Camp in San Diego. They're part of a nine-piece band, Riverboat Dixie. In the photo are Ron Ruiz of Westlake, Mark Winston of Northridge, Ron Rothman of Agoura Hills and Linda Organ of Westlake. LITTLE MERMAIDS-Christy and Kaitlyn Knabe of Westlake Village take The Acorn on a cruise in the Caribbean. Looks like everything is shipshape. SOLID AS A ROCK-Ryan Kotzin of Calabasas visits the Stonehenge ruins on England's Salisbury Plain. Wonder if the ancient Druids had a community newspaperRyan's expression doesn't give much clue.
