Spirit Works to feature Christian songwriter

SPIRIT SINGS-Songwriter Hannah Ford will perform at West Hills Church Fri., Oct. 6. Ford, who has traveled around the globe performing her Christian music, is sponsored by Spirit Works, the contemporary ministry at the church. Spirit Works, the contemporary ministry at West Hills Church, cel- ebrates its first year of ministry with a concert by Christian singer- songwriter Hannah Ford at 7:15 p.m. Fri., Oct. 6 at the church, 7475 Fallbrook Ave., West Hills.

Having earned several awards for her debut album "Beautiful Love," singer-songwriter Hannah was voted No. 1 by listeners in the annual 95.9 Starfish Awards.

She has toured across the United States, Mexico, Morocco and Rus- sia performing in prisons, churches and major concert arenas. This con- cert will present songs from her up- coming second CD.

The evening will also feature guest speaker Mary Erickson, ex- ecutive director of Imagine LA, a ministry for the homeless that is working to help make Los Angeles a city where no child sleeps on the street.
