Reyes Adobe Days grand marshal named

Jenilee Harrison Jenilee Harrison The city of Agoura Hills has announced that celebrity resident Jenilee Harrison will serve as grand marshal for the second an- nual Agoura Hills Reyes Adobe Days parade next month.

Harrison, who starred in many motion pictures and tele- vision productions including "Dallas," is best known for her role as Cindy Snow in the '70s hit comedy "Three's Company." Prior to her acting career, Harrison reigned as Miss Young America, Miss San Fernando Valley, Miss Hollywood and Miss Los Angeles. She was also a Los Angeles Rams cheerleader.

"I love everything about Agoura Hills," said Harrison, who lives on an Old Agoura ranch filled with pets. "It's a close-knit community where you just don't borrow a cup of sugar from neighbors, you bake the cake with them. I could live any- where, but I chose Old Agoura because it's such an animal-ori- ented community-you can still have a horse in your own back- yard. And cowboys still exist."

Joining Harrison in the Reyes Adobe Days parade are Sponge Bob Squarepants, the DVS Shoe Co. Skateboard Team and the Miss Reyes Adobe court along with equestrians, floats, antique autos, bands and drill teams, clubs and organizations. The Reyes Adobe Days parade begins at 10 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 14 at Forest Cove Lane and Thou- sand Oaks Boulevard.

The milelong procession will travel along Thousand Oaks Boulevard, ending at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site, 5464 Reyes Adobe Road, to kick off Reyes Adobe Days. A Day at the Adobe will offer a host of cul- tural family activities, demon- strations, music, museum tours and fine art exhibits.

Deadline to sign up for the Reyes Adobe Days parade is 4 p.m. Fri., Sept. 30.

For applications with all en- try requirements, call the city at (818) 597-7361.
