Oak Park graduate ships off to U.S. Naval Academy

Steven C. Darrow Midshipman 4th Class Steven C. Darrow has recently completed six weeks of Plebe Summer at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

At the conclusion of this orientation, Darrow joined the rest of the 4,000 students at the school to begin four years of study leading to a bachelor's degree and commissioning as a Navy or Marine Corps officer.

Darrow is a 2005 graduate of Oak Park High School. He is the son of Mark Darrow of Oak Park and Kim Darrow of Fox Island, Wash.
