College nights coming to two cities

Programs will feature colleges across U.S.

More than 50 colleges and universities from around the country including two and four-year schools, vocational programs, the armed forces and military academies will be represented at the annual Oak Park/ Las Virgenes Unified School District's College Fair Night.

Students and families from Oak Park, Agoura and Calabasas high schools will attend the informational event to be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 28 at Oak Park High School in the pavilion and gymnasium.

Parents and students are encouraged to browse through the

nformation available and to meet admission and alumni representatives. All students and families are welcome to attend.

ege Information Night for students and parents Wed., Sept. 27 at Westlake High School.

The College Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the school gym and workshops will be from 7 to 8:40 p.m.

Workshops include such topics as the UC system, SAT and ACT tests, Cal State system, college athlete, community colleges, selecting

a college, independent universities, admissions, financial planning, and performing arts schools.

The program is open to all 9th and 10th grade students in the district. Nearly 100 different college representatives will be present.
