Hootenanny coming to Botanicum

The Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum's annual "Hootenanny" will be Sun., Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The old-fashioned family fair includes children's theater and the annual "The Woody Show" at 3 p.m., the theater's annual singalong and tribute to songwriter, folklorist, and labor leader Woody Guthrie.

Other activities include Topanga arts and crafts vendors, "Aesop's Fables" by Creative PlayGround at noon, Family Improv at 1 p.m., folk music with The Fellow Travelers at 1:30 p.m. and Americana Stories at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 to $25 for adults, and $8 for children under 12. The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum is at 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Topanga. For tickets and information, call (310) 455-3723.
