Color for Calabasas

The city of Calabasas is hosting an environmentally themed coloring contest open to students in kindergarten through 8th grade titled "How Can You Help the Environment by Recycling?"

Students are required to submit hand created drawings in landscape orientation on 8.5-inchby-11-inch paper. Contest submissions are due to the city of Calabasas, Environmental Services Division by Nov. 6, 2006.

Thirteen winners will be chosen based on the creativity and theme of their illustration. The winning drawings will be printed in a 2007 city of Calabasas environmentally-themed calendar to be distributed to city residences. Winners will also receive a $25 gift certificate.
