Beth Haverim announces Holy Day services

Temple Beth Haverim announced that its High Holy Day services will be held in the Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Seats are not assigned, which allows for extended families and groups to sit together. There will be special youth activities and programs for each age group.

The temple's young children family services are at 3 p.m. on Rosh Hashonah and Yom Kippur.

In addition, a tashlich service, in which Jews symbolically cast their sins into the water, will be on Sun., Sept. 24 at 4:30 p.m. at the lake in Oak Canyon Park in Oak Park.

Yizkor Services will be at noon on Yom Kippur. All are welcome.
