Man arrested in Agoura Hills pot bust
The Ventura County Sheriff's Department has arrested a 20year-old Inglewood man on suspicion of selling marijuana in Agoura Hills.
Detectives began investigating Eugene Church earlier this year following complaints about alleged drug sales over the Internet site Craigslist.org. According to the Sheriff's Department, an undercover detective searched the website for people offering to sell pot and made contact with Church.
The detective agreed to meet Church on Sept. 13 at a location in Agoura Hills, and upon his arrest, Church was allegedly found to have in his possession "multiple packages" of high grade marijuana worth approximately $3,000.
Church was arrested on charges of transporting and possessing marijuana for sale and was being held in Ventura County jail in lieu of $200,000 bail. The Sheriff's Department said Church had been out on bail in a previous alleged pot sale in Beverly Hills.
