Maguire business seminar in Westlake Village

Frank Maguire, an internationally acclaimed public speaker, business guru and author, will present a business seminar from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Fri., Sept. 29 at the Westlake Village Inn.

Designed to help individuals bring their business, organization or corporation to the next level, the presentation is called "RealLife Lessons in Productivity, Profitability and Customer Relations."

As a senior vice president of industrial relations for Federal Express, Maguire was creator of the corporate culture that made the company a multibillion-dollar success story. He was a founding member of the management team that turned the phrase "absolutely, positively overnight" from a promise to a guarantee.

In his 20s, Maguire served in the Executive Office of the President under both John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. As head of program development at ABC Radio Network, he hired Ted Koppel and Charles Osgood, giving them their first on-air broadcast jobs.

Maguire left his mark on the international expansion of American Airlines. During his tenure as vice president of marketing for Kentucky Fried Chicken, KFC was the fastest-growing company on the New York Stock Exchange.

Maguire excels at sharing his vast knowledge and experience in an engaging way that participants can immediately apply to their own organizations.

Maguire specializes in the fields of corporate culture, customer relations, effective leadership communications and branding.

The cost of the seminar is $199, or $159 each for a group of five or more.
