Rabbi to lecture on prayers

On Mon., Sept. 18, Camarillo Rabbi Michael Lotker will speak about the message of the High Holidays at the regular Haverim B'nai B'rith gathering at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks.

Emphasizing some of the deeper spiritual insights and what Jews and worshippers can do to get more out of the High Holiday experience, Lotker will talk about traditional prayers such as Kol Nidre and about other difficult prayers such as Unetaneh Tokef.

Lotker is visiting from Temple Ner Ami in Camarillo.

Temple Adat Elohim is at 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
