In honor of the upcoming Boys & Girls Club of America 100th Anniversary celebration, David Engen, owner of the Taco Bell franchise in Agoura Hills, will work with the Taco Bell foundation and donate 10 percent of today's restaurant sales toward refurbishing Boys & Girls Clubs of America teen centers.

Firm named fastest growing

Agoura Hills Internet service provider ISWest has been named one of the top 50 fastest growing technology companies in Los Angeles in 2006 by Deloitte, a professional services firms.

The company has placed four consecutive times on Deloitte's Fast 50 ranking of the fastest growing technology firms in Southern California.

Fast 50 rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 2001 to 2005. Less than one-third of companies make the Top 50 four years in a row.

Due to the acquisition of six additional ISPs, ISWest has become the largest Internet service provider in Ventura County. Officials said the company expects business to grow by 500 percent over the next 5 years.

"We play to win," said Drew Kaplan, ISWest chief executive. "Success has come easy for ISWest because we give real customer service, not lip service."

ISWest provides businessclass broadband Internet service and server co-location services. The company was founded in 1996 by Kaplan and Robert Johnson.

Software ready

Westlake Village-based CharterHouse announced that its AppFinity WebStore software now has the ability to share data with Intuit's Quick-Books Premier product.

The exchange of critical data between AppFinity and QuickBooks-such as orders placed via the Internet and other inventory and customer information exchanges-will help small companies better manage their businesses, CharterHouse officials said.
