'Voices from God' concert scheduled

Lisbeth Scott and Dwight Trible will be the featured singers at the "Voices From God" concert to benefit Eagle Wings of Enlightenment Center, at 8 p.m. Fri., Sept. 15 at the Madrid Theatre, 21622 Sherman Way, Canoga Park.

Scott is best known for singing the title song from the 2004 movie "The Passion of the Christ." Scott, a singer/songwriter/instrumentalist, also is featured in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe."

Trible is a singer/musician/storyteller. He combines the best of vocal virtuosity with musicianship and improvisational skills. Trible has worked with Harry Belafonte, Della Reese, Oscar Brown Jr. and Pharaoh Sanders.

Tickets to the concert are $22 and $33 and will benefit Eagle Wings of Enlightenment Center, a spiritual center in south central Los Angeles dedicated to peace and non-violence.
