Oaks Christian ranked among nation's best teams Preseason high school football rankings are beginning to slowly filter in and the Oaks Christian team figures prominently in many polls. PrepNation.com has the Lions listed as the No. 4 squad in the U.S. MaxPreps.com ranks OCHS as its No. 9 team in the country, while CalHighSports.com puts Oaks Christian at No. 17 overall. MaxPreps and CalHighSports both said the Lions could be the topranked school in the nation based on the team's skill-position players. The publications, however, expressed concern with Oaks' sched ule, which includes non-league games against Lompoc, Muir, St. Bonaventure, Venice and Diamond Ranch.
