Committee will discuss special education issues

The Oak Park Special Education Advisory Committee will host its 2006-07 kick-off meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mon., Sept. 11 in the lecture room at the Oak Park Library, on the campus of Oak Park High School, 899 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park.

During the session, the committee will introduce new board members, review goals for 2006-07 and discuss upcoming events.

The committee's goal is to provide a supportive forum in which parents and Oak Park Unified School District staff and administrators may discuss issues relating to special education programs and services throughout the school district.
