Local businesses lack support

It is great to see the business development workshops being started in Agoura Hills by the Agoura/Oak Park/Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Workshops such as this are instrumental in the growth of start-up businesses and it's about time we had more business locally.

Chambers of Commerce mean business. They assist like-minded businesspeople in growing their locally-owned businesses.

The expansion of local businesses result in increased sales and the resulting badly needed sales tax collection to the city of Agoura Hills.

The fact that the city of Agoura Hills does not support its Chamber of Commerce is unconscionable and the citizenry of Agoura Hills should be furious that its city council does not do more to attract and support business in its city. David R. Flamer Agoura Hills
