Back to school night at Sumac

Sumac Elementary School in Agoura Hills will kick off the new school year Tues., Aug. 29 in the multipurpose room with a special event that gives families a backto-school "one-stop shopping" opportunity.

The event is at 4:30 p.m. for kindergarten students and at 5 p.m. for grades 1-5. All new and returning students are welcome.

Back-to-school purchase opportunities include class supplies, school apparel and E-scrip. A treasure hunt and prizes will be offered and volunteer and donation information will be available.

Child class assignments also will be posted.

Pizza will be sold as long as supplies last and all food sales will benefit the Sumac PFA.

Classes at Sumac resume on Wed., Aug. 30.
