Steve Young

Steve Young was the listing agent for the sale of my home. His 29 years of experience and understanding of market conditions was critical to the sale, especially due to deteriorating market conditions. Almost no other homes in the area were selling and mine sold in 24 days. Steve helped me properly price and prepare the property for sale. There are currently many properties for sale in our neighborhood and I have the only sold sign.

The most important statements he made to me were "The market will tell us the value," "If the home is priced correctly it will sell in a few weeks," and "The best strategy is to systematically reduce the price until a sale is triggered." Sage advice.

Several offers were tendered on the property. Steve's vast experience helped me determine the best offer, which is not always a function of the offering price. He was also very patient in that he encouraged me to wait to respond to offers to see if any other offers arrived. This was also critical to the consummation of the sale because during the negotiation of one offer from a less financially stable party a more stable offer arrived.

Steve was very responsive to all of my phone calls and communication, exercising much patience with the persistence and nervousness. He also took extra time to educate me in various aspects of the residential real estate trade.

Personally, I enjoyed Steve very much. Even though the market condi

tions were difficult he kept a good sense of humor, yet stayed focused on the bottom line.
