Mare foals filly in Agoura

IT'S A GIRL-Bonfire, a mare owned by Ron Troncatty and his daughter, Ashley, had given birth to a filly only an hour ago when friend Larry Brown shot this photo. Ashley bred Bonfire to a sorrel-colored registered paint stallion from Simi Valley in the hope of siring her very own multi-colored paint horse. Her wish came true. The Troncattys and Brown are members of the Old Agoura Rangers, a group known in the Agoura Hills equestrian community as the "voice of horses."
