Conejo Players perform 'Forum'

The Conejo Players will present the musical farce "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," from Fri., Aug. 25 through Sat., Sept. 23.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

According to the theater, this fast-paced comedy combines the 2,000-year-old comedies of the Roman playwright Palutus with classic vaudeville. Pseudolus, a crafty slave, schemes to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan, Philia, for his young master, Hero, in exchange for his freedom.
