Even ducks value a good education

LITTLE QUAKERS-Linda Noe, a substitute teacher for Oak Park Unified School District, snapped this photo of a mother duck and her 10 hatchlings visiting the Medea Creek Middle School lunch grounds. Noe said the duck is a Medea Creek "alumna" returning to her "old waddling grounds." We wonder if she's back to enroll her young brood for fall classes.
