With an extra click of the mouse, Amazon.com shoppers can help support The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura.

Effective immediately, shoppers who visit www.TwcVv.org and click on the Amazon logo will be directed to Amazon.com, and up to 8 percent of all purchases will be donated to Wellness.

The Thousand Oaks-based Wellness Community is the local chapter of the international, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to men and women affected by cancer.

Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of their disease.
