Lutheran church to host VBS

Ascension Lutheran Church invites all community children to Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon Mon., July 31 through Fri., Aug. 4 at the church, 1600 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. The theme is "SonTreasure Is

land." The program will "create a fun and exciting island atmosphere while discovering the treasure of God's amazing love," according to event organizers.
