Summer cheer in Oak Park

The Oak Park cheer team is offering a summer cheerleading camp at Oak Park High School from July 24-28.

Girls will learn how to cheer, dance and make arts and crafts. Girls from 3 to 14 years of age are invited to attend. The campers will be divided into separate age groups.

Activities run from 8 a.m.until 1 p.m. Mon., July 24 through Thurs., July 27. The Friday session ends at noon preceded by a special performance for the parents. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch every day except the last.

The cost is $200 for the week and includes a tee-shirt and all arts and crafts. Proceeds will help fund the 20062007 Oak Park High School cheer team. Checks are payable to Oak Park Cheer.
