Kids can learn craft of woodworking in Calabasas

The city of Calabasas Community Services Department is offering a woodshop workshop for youth. Participants will craft a project from wood, learn to use a variety of tools and practice safety techniques.

The class will meet from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tues., Wed., and Thurs., July 25 through 27at Juan Bautista de Anza Park, 3701 Lost Hills, Calabasas.

The course fee is $90, along with a $85 materials fee.
