United Methodists to wash cars
     The high school students at United Methodist Church of Westlake Village will sponsor a car wash on Sat., July 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church parking lot at 1049 Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village. Proceeds will the group's annual Mystery Ramble trip later this month.

     Alexis Rosenthal was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Sat., June 17 at Temple Etz Chaim. She is the daughter of Rochelle and Jon Rosenthal of Westlake Village and a ninth-grader at Westlake High School.
