School district receives special flag

PROUD MOM-Before Betty Breneman retired from

the Las Virgenes Unified

School District, she rallied

fellow employees to send gift baskets to her son, Maj.

Tom Breneman Jr., and his

squadron in Iraq. In appreciation, Breneman flew

a new flag aboard a U.S.

Marine Corps CH-CH53E

helicopter over Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operation

Iraqi Freedom and sent it overseas to be presented to

the students and faculty here at home.
