Interfaith Coalition plans Habitat project

Conejo Valley Interfaith Coalition is coordinating projects from the grounds of the Church of the Epiphany (Episcopal), 5450 Churchwood Drive, Oak Park. The group will begin its Habitat for Humanity-Simi Valley construction phase later this summer.

A meet and greet with salad and barbecue is planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sun., July 9 at the Church of the Epiphany. Guest speakers will include

Nancy Stehle, the interim executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County. She and her staff will share fundraising ideas and information.

Also speaking will be Tim Schutz, the Habitat for Humanity coordinator for St. Maximillian Catholic Church, Westlake Village, which has just raised $100,000 for a home in Oxnard.
