Lowe's brings complications

In regard to Lowe's being on the November ballot, I would like to mention a couple of things.

The first of which: picture the amount of added traffic congestion from the San Fernando Valley all the way to Ventura. The traffic will be using Lindero Canyon Boulevard and Westlake Boulevard, which has already been largely impacted since Costco has arrived.

We now have two new buildings being constructed along Lindero Canyon, which when open will add more congestion.

Let's also consider the impact on our clean air. Exhaust fumes from thousands of additional cars daily will greatly affect our air quality. Slowly but surely we will have the same air quality that the San Fernando Valley now has.

What is the Westlake City Council thinking? The answer is simple and it's green! If we want a "town center," let's scale it down. Karen Wrigley Westlake Village
