Interfaith group will host panel discussion

The Interfaith Relations Committee of the Valley Interfaith Council will host panelists from four faith traditions to discuss "Where is God When Disaster Strikes?" at 7 p.m. on Sun., June 25 at the Islamic Center of Northridge, 11439 Encino Ave., Granada Hills.

Panelists include Rabbi Jan Offel, interim associate rabbi at Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills; Manish Sahu, member of JKP, Radha Govinda Dham of Los Angeles representing the Hindu devotion to the god Radha Krishna; Munireh Moore from the Bahai Faith; and a Christian representative to be announced.

Each speaker will give a brief introduction to the topic from their faith perspective, followed by an extended question-and-answer session. Refreshments will be served.
