Calabasas student to attend leadership conference

Taylor Gunther, 12, of Calabasas, has been selected to participate in the Junior National Student Leadership Conference in July. The conference is a leadership development program for outstanding middle school students.

During the conference, students attend workshops and classes where they study distinctions of leadership. Special guest speakers bring current national and international issues to life.

Through participation in the program, students develop their abilities to think on their feet, to engage in critical analysis and to communicate effectively.
