June 14 meeting will address Agoura Village

There are some real issues with the Agoura Village Plan residents need to be made aware of.

The first issue is this project approves the zoning for three large developments on Agoura Road without the proper studies.

The second is the traffic study (funded by developers) uses a base of zero for the traffic there now, so the study is misleading and inaccurate. Thirdly, the businesses there now could suffer greatly because much of the development will be the same thing as what is there now.

The plan adds 578,000 square feet of commercial development plus 293 residences and parking-all on environmentally sensitive land-with no real studies showing the toll these projects will take on the landscape, residents, traffic and businesses alike.
