Another spin on cycling controversy

I, as a driver, go out of my way to be careful around bicyclists because their idea of "sharing the road" is them doing anything they want to do and cars watching out for them. When the bike lane turns into a striped lane, it's mine as well as the bicyclists' and it is their responsibility as well as mine to see that the car doesn't "win."

It's what's called driving/riding defensively. If bicyclists don't want the car to win they need to show some common sense and courtesy.

I ride a bicycle. I'm just not rude, arrogant or vulgar.
