Conejo Players announces auditions for next comedy

The Conejo Players will host auditions for the musical comedy "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at 7:30 p.m. Sun. to Tues., June 25 to 27 at the theatre, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Callbacks will be at 7:30 p.m. Wed., June 28.

The show is scheduled for performances from Aug. 25 to Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

For all roles, comic timing is a must. Any ethnicity is welcome and good singers are needed who can move well.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and singing 16 to 32 bars that show an actor's range and personality. No appointments are needed for auditions.

There is no compensation paid to any performers in the cast and no conflicts will be accepted for performance dates.
